Geosynthetic Clay Liner(GCL) namely the sodium bentonite waterproofing blanket(pad) is a kind of new earthwork composition material,which is the environmental ecology compound impermeable material which is producted with a flat of clay or other low permeable mineral material outside covered with earthwork fabric or the earthwork membrance, by the method of acupuncturing or suturing. According to the need of project, waterproofing blanket may also be covered with the HDPE membrane to meet the special environment need and achieve more ideal impermeable bentonite in the middle of it is the inorganic material. At the same time , this kind of bentonite also has the ability of storing moisture, and its absorption or the water content may be above 10 times of own weight, and has the permanent waterproof performance.
